Tarna also came to us from Keikewabic Kennels, and right away it was apparent that she was going to be special. A very quick learner, she put Inook to shame showing that she could do both obedience and conformation at the same time. After completing her championship, she then turned her attention to motherhood.

Tarna was an excellent mother and even better role model for the puppies ... she took this role very seriously. We are proud to say that several of her offspring have gone on to become foundations for other kennels here in Canada and overseas. Tarna was Top Brood Bitch with the Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada in 1996 and was also awarded her CAM (Canadian Award of Merit) for these efforts.

In addition, Tarna was our self-appointed house dog and could often be found curled up on her favourite chair. If it was raining outside, forget it, she wasn't going out there and getting her feet wet! She crossed over the rainbow bridge just a month after Inook to join her life-long partner. We miss you Tarna Baby!
