"Haley"

Haley was from Inook and Tarna's last litter and she finished her championship very quickly as a young dog. She herself decided the show ring wasn't for her so she stayed home while the rest of us went to the shows. Haley much preferred the comforts that came with being a house dog.

I decided to bring Haley back out as a veteran; she had matured so nicely and I couldn't remember why we had stopped showing her! She must have forgotten too as she had a great time and took the breed from the veteran's class in the NOWDA Group 3 Specialty.

And then it was back to retirement and being a house dog extraordinaire! While the girls enjoyed each other’s company outside, Haley would rather be with you and whatever you were doing INSIDE. She was your constant shadow and would patiently follow you from room to room. Those privileges often included a shared bowl of popcorn or even a plate of nachos on a Saturday night - her personal favourite. She was also the only dog who loved Kahlua as much as me. Yes, we were definitely soul mates.

So while Haley had no great conquests in the show ring or in the whelping box, she captured our hearts and we miss her terribly. Til we meet again, Peanut ...
