Sage and I travelled to the Land O’Lakes shows where she exceeded our expectations by taking three four point majors to finish her American championship!
These were all specialty wins too and the competition was outstanding. Special thanks to Jeri El Dissi who saw the potential in this youngster after showing her at the US
National in Kansas this past November. At her first show as a new champion, Sage made the first cut in a lovely lineup. What a great weekend for us!
Sage BW for the first Specialty major under Kathleen Ronald.
Sage WB for the second Specialty major to finish her AMCA championship under Sioux Forsyth-Green.
Sage first time out as a champion where she made one cut. |

It was a family affair to meet up with littermates Roman, Wonder and Minka.

Jagger finishes 2017 as the #4 Bred-by-Exhibitor dog in the U.S. What a great accomplishment for the two of us!
|
|
September 2017 |
|
Jagger was entered at our local show the first week of September and took the breed 3 out of 4 shows and that gave him his Grand championship.
To make the weekend even better he won a Group 4 placement in a nice lineup of working dogs on the Friday.
The above photo is Jagger and me with his Group 4th ribbon.
The stats are also out from the U.S. and Jagger is still
the #1 Bred-By Exhibitor dog and #7 class dog for the first half of 2017. Here’s hoping he has enough points to keep him
in the stats to the end of the year! |
|
June 2017 |
|
Jagger made the AMCA stats for the first quarter of 2017 as the Best Bred-By
Dog in the U.S. and tied for 2nd place as the Best Class Dog overall! That is quite an achievement for
a dog from Canada and we couldn’t be more proud of our boy! |

Jagger and I travelled to Land O’Lakes super cluster with two Malamute specialties, one Group 3 Specialty and two all breed shows. A busy weekend for
sure and Jagger had an amazing time by taking points at 3 of the shows including a major, and Reserve to the points at the other two. All this gave him his championship and we
couldn’t be more proud of this boy!!
Here is Jagger’s picture from Land O’Lakes winning his second major under Tom Alexander.
Jagger and his Best of Winners ribbons from the Specialty and on the grooming table.
The weekend was off to a good start with Jagger and I scoring a suite at no extra charge at the hotel. He approved of the bed. |

We are happy to announce that Sarge left today for his new home with the extended Both family in NW Ontario.
While we are sad to see the Big Guy leave us, we know there are many new adventures to be had in his new
home. Sarge will continue to be a country boy and keep the property safe from bunnies and squirrels.
Sarge is pictured with BFF Ken just before leaving for his new forever home. |

Farrah is shown in the ring at the 2013 US
National Specialty shows in Oconomowoc, WI. I took Farrah along with her son Jagger.
I had Farrah entered in the Veteran’s class along with Sweepstakes and the quality of the girls
in her class was outstanding. Several were group placing in their day and most were Nationally
ranked in the U.S. at some point in their career. Farrah and I managed a 4th place out of 12 in
the sweepstakes with some very stiff competition under breeder judge Lynda Birmantas-Beam. Farrah
came away with a fancy ribbon, a new plush dog bed, a stuffed toy and enough money to buy me dinner!!
Jagger was shown by good friend Jennifer Remazki from Spiritrun Kennels and, while they didn’t place,
it was good experience for him. Jagger now needs some time to mature and will be spending the winter
doing just that before he hits the ring again in the spring of 2014. |

Jagger finished his championship by getting the last 2 points needed at
the Lakehead Kennel Club shows, expertly shown by friend Megan Brown. |

Farrah is shown in the ring at the shows in Land O'Lakes, MN. We had some
really good competition and Farrah took WB for a 3 point major under Jane Roppolo. That brought
her
to 12 points and one more win would have done it. So, at the mal specialty later that day under Deb
Wilkins, we went reserve to the major ... oh, so close! We're getting there! |
|
December 2010 |

Farrah (Ch. Tundra's Keikewabic Covergirl) attended the shows in St. Cloud,

by taking Best of Winners one of the days for two points. |
