Each person wrote a sentence at the top of her paper. This was passed to the next person
who illustrated it in the space below. Then with a fold the sentence was hidden and passed
on to the next person after that, who translated the drawing back into a sentence. Then
the drawing was hidden and the second version of the sentence was drawn by the next person.
Etc. Then we had a discussion about Gossip with reference to Leviticus 19, which -- if we were to understand God's law to Israel to be universal and immutable throughout all time -- also tells how (not) to shave or mix fabrics together. "The Bible says it. I believe it. That settles it." |
