My Logs

When I talk about working at other camps I want to be clear that I didn't just decide to "move on", feeling unhappy with DBC and thinking these other camps are better. I'd like to correct two possible misunderstandings:
1) It was not my choice to leave. I wanted to stay.
2) I *was* fired -- but
*not* for cause. (That's why they had to offer me a severance package.)
As for why they wanted to do this: It's clear that I was discussed at many mtgs about which I know nothing and so I can only speculate. But the report of the 1st mediator (based on interviews with my supervisors) reveals that, unknown to me, they resented the ways they believed I exercised too much influence over camp.

Whatever the case, I did agree to each of the three different versions chosen by the board for talking through any feelings of resentment, but none of them was ever fully implemented, despite my willingness to co-operate. (Goals were set for Versions 1 & 3, but that was it.)
