was a familiar site at Presbytery. A delegate from Ear Falls, Dave was passionate about the Mission and Service Fund. Every Presbytery at Saturday evening dinner he would tell jokes in his strong Scottish brogue, which few could understand. Somehow though we all knew from his body language when to laugh. In return for this after dinner entertainment Dave would pass around his hat for M & S contributions. After his death the family donated his hat to Presbytery. It's still working for M & S, although no one person could possibly replace him, which is why so many of us have to tell jokes to get the donations. As of the 2009 Winter Presbytery $14,314.07 has been raised since 1989, which is as far back as records go on this.
