Community Centre rental rates

Effective March 1, 2001


  • All fees must be paid within 2 weeks after booking.
  • Only paid events have confirmed bookings.
  • No refunds will be made unless cancelled 90 days prior to event, or an alternate booking is obtained for the cancelled date.
  • All hall rentals must pay a refundable damage deposit of $100.00
  • Rental includes:

    • Use of Park and sports areas, non-exclusive use of playground.
    • Baseball Diamond must be reserved, subject to availability. (No charge)

  • PICNICS USING KITCHENETTE ONLY       $75.00

    Rental period: all day (dawn to dusk)

    Use of Washroom, Kitchenette, fridge, freezer, facilities to prepare coffee, tea, juice, etc.
    No Alcoholic beverage allowed on the property.
    This includes
    wine, beer and/or spirits.
    Centre must be left in a clean condition.



    BASIC HALL RENTAL NO ALCOHOL       $125.00

    Rental periods:       Daytime 8am - 4pm       Evening 5pm - 1am

    First rental period $125.00
    Additional Rental Periods (each) $100.00

    No glue, tape, staples, pins or tacks may be used on walls or ceiling
    Hooks are provided to decorate the hall.
    No Alcoholic beverage allowed on the property.
    This includes
    wine, beer and/or spirits.
    Centre must be left in a clean condition.

    Catering of Lunch/Coffee available

    Yard, Craft Sale etc.

    Fee includes: Ten 8 foot tables
    Additional Tables 50% of table rental rate
    Hall reserves the right to operate kitchen concession as exclusive provider of food, refreshments.

    Surcharges

    Setup/takedown of tables and chairs by Centre staff       $50.00



    EVENTS WITH ALCOHOL       $250.00
    plus Supervisor & Bartender

    Rental periods:       Daytime 8am - 4pm       Evening 5pm - 1am

    First rental period $250.00
    Additional Rental Periods (each) $100.00

    Hooks are provided to decorate the hall.
    Centre must be left in a clean condition.
    Renter is responsible for obtaining Liquor License.
    License must be posted in bar.
    No Alcoholic beverage allowed outside the mail hall.
    The Bartender cannot handle cash, and must have S.I.P. training.
    Hall will supply Supervisor and can supply a Bartender at the rates listed below.
    Suitable food must be served at events serving Alcohol.
    Proof of Party Alcolol Liability Insurnace must be submitted one week prior to event

    Rental includes:
    • Use of Park and sports areas, non-exclusive use of playground.
    • Baseball Diamond must be reserved, subject to availability. (No charge)
    • Use of Kitchen facilities
    • Use of Bar facility, glasses.
    • Does not include Pop, Mix, Ice.

    Surcharges

    Setup/takedown of tables and chairs by Centre staff       $50.00
    Bartender & Supervisor (1 hour before Bar opens to 1 hour after closing):
          $15 per hr minimum: $125.00 each
    Additional time: per half hour or portion thereof: $10.00 each

    STATUTORY HOLIDAYS

    Statutory Holidays and Long Weekends:
    Double Bartender & Supervisor regular fees

    SPECIAL RATES

    Funeral receptions:             Donation
    Meetings of clubs, non-profit groups:       First 3 hours $50.00
                Additional time per hour $10.00
