Music

I recorded this perversion of La Bamba years ago in a make-your-own-tape booth.
Now that I have a device for converting to digital, I can foist it upon you.

Watch it fullsize at Youtube.

Singing at Christian Women's Club
Sept. 21,22

I sang my own "Little One" and Dylan's "Lord, Protect My Child".

Judging from her facial expression, I guess the lady in the foreground is not a Dylan fan (or worse: she is!!).

Pinewood Court Volunteer Appreciation
Sept. 23
at Calvary Lutheran Church Hall

This wasn't a time for me to sing, but to enjoy the performance of the Sweet Adelines.

Parties

Heidi & Murray's Re-Wedding
Sept. 12

Heidi's dad worked with mine and so we've known each other since childhood. She and her sister, Natalie, were the ones who invited me to Dorion Bible Camp.

She "graduated" from Camp and got married and had a couple of children. (I didn't.) The children soon came to camp, but the marriage ended after seven years.

Twenty five years later she and her ex, Murray, got back in touch due to the birth of their first grandchild. One thing led to another and they decided they wanted to get remarried!!

My mother and I were happy to attend this special event at the Unitarian Hall (followed by the reception at the Journey to Wellness Centre on Amelia St.).

Celebs

Lt. General (Ret'd) Romeo Dallaire, Senator: Sept. 25/09

Theatre/Acting

Cambrian Players

We began rehearsals for our production Halo by Josh McDonald, directed by Kathryn Ferrazzo, which we will perform at the Paramount Theatre on Court St. 8 PM, Nov. 12-14,18-21.

I am one of the "Male Swings" meaning I play several small parts include Nat, 50% of the Christian Folk Duo "Dove", and "Greasy" who likes his fried chicken.
