Good turnouts at Knox Shuniah on Friday & Saturday (October 4 & 5), despite a rainy Friday night, brought in $1331.32 for Camp Duncan. Special thanks go to Chair Linda Hammond and her sidekick, Carol Holmes, many of the Camp Duncan board members and to Knox Shuniah.
There were doors, televisions, radios, and cups and saucers galore and a large volume of clothing, most of which went on the first night of the sale. Miss Chief (aka Missy) was one of two kittens offered free to good homes.
So congratulations to all who pitched in to make it such a success and to the donors who brought their items in. Any left overs were turned over to the Diabetic Society for their upcoming yard sale.
