Lips will be appearing on the WE WISH YOU A METAL XMAS AND A HEADBANGING NEW YEAR EP that will be available from Eagle Rock Entertainment via all North American digital service providers on November 24, 2009. He will be singing on 'Frosty The Snowman' with Bumblefoot, Chris Chaney and Kenny Aronoff.

Check out the new ANVIL Experience tour dates for January/February 2010. They will be travelling across the US (with two Canadian stops). The ANVIL Experience is a screening of Anvil! The Story Of Anvil followed by a performance by the band.

Anvil! The Story Of Anvil was released on DVD in North America on October 6, 2009. It has been out on DVD and Blu-ray in the UK since June 15, 2009. Note for collectors: The North American DVD has a completely different commentary track than the two that are included on the UK versions. Click here for more information.

Metal Mind Productions has re-releasing PAST AND PRESENT - LIVE IN CONCERT on CD digipack. It is limited to 2000 copies and will be released worldwide except for USA, Canada, South & Central America.

Check out ANVIL's new official website www.anvilmetal.com. Much of the info is being taken from this site, however the new one looks much more modern and professional. It is still currently under construction. I will still be maintaining this one as it may include detailed info that the official one may not, like pressings.

The trade paperback book Anvil! The Story Of Anvil is now available. It can be ordered from Amazon. Note that the hardcover is still available and can be ordered from Amazon or directly from Transworld Publishers. The regular paperback will be released October 27, 2009.

ANVIL will be performing at the Soundwave Festival in Australia in February 2010. Check the tour dates page for details.

Two ANVIL songs will be included on the soundtrack to the upcoming video game Brütal Legend. The game is being released in October 2009 by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will include "March Of The Crabs" and "Tag Team" (both from METAL ON METAL) on the soundtrack.

Anvil! The Story Of Anvil is the name of the documentary on ANVIL directed by Sacha Gervasi, who wrote the Steven Spielberg movie, The Terminal. Sacha is an old friend of the band's that used to do some roadie work for them back in the 1980's. The website for the film is http://anvilmovie.com.
