ANVIL have added Metal Open Air 2012 in São Luís, Brazil to their list of festivals they will be playing this year. ANVIL will also be doing a tour of the USA in January and February 2012. Check the tour dates page for details.

ANVIL's cover of The Who's "Slip Kid" is available on CD for the first time on SONGS OF ANARCHY: MUSIC FROM SONS OF ANARCHY SEASONS 1-4. The song featuring Franky Perez of Scars On Broadway first appeared on Sons Of Anarchy (season 2, episode 1). It was then released in digital format on the SONS OF ANARCHY: NORTH COUNTRY EP.

MONUMENT OF METAL has been released by Sony Music/Camden in the UK.

Anvil! The Story Of Anvil is the name of the documentary on ANVIL directed by Sacha Gervasi, who wrote the Steven Spielberg movie, The Terminal. Sacha is an old friend of the band's that used to do some roadie work for them back in the 1980's. The website for the film is http://anvilmovie.com.
