Sal Italiano is now an official member of ANVIL as bassist.
ANVIL have several dates for the upcoming summer. Check the tour dates page for more details (updated May 13, 2012).
Skol Records is putting together the first-ever ANVIL tribue album entitled "STRONG AS STEEL: A TRIBUTE TO ANVIL". It is to be
released in early 2013. Any bands interested in participating should email mail@skolrecords.com. More info can be read

Former ANVIL bassist, Glenn Five, will be filling in on bass for Warmachine at their gig at The Rockpile
in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on May 31, 2012.

SPV - Steamhammer just rereleased some Anvil CDs in double digipak format. Each digipak contains 2 CDs. Released was
PLUGGED IN PERMANENT / ABSOLUTELY NO ALTERNATIVE and SPEED OF SOUND / PLENTY OF POWER.
ANVIL have added more shows. Caym featuring Tyler Reiner(son of Robb Reiner) on drums, will be opening for them for three of their Canadian dates.
