By T. Robb on January 19, 2014
Format: Paperback
This is one of the best books to introduce poetic form to children. Bonnie Ferrante uses a classic formula to instruct using an unconventional theme: everyday life that would be familiar to kids. Additionally, "Too Quiet, Too Noisy" introduces new language to young minds--not only vocabulary, but linguistic representations of sounds--that deepen children's awareness of sensory; the root of good poetry.
