This album was to be the soundtrack for Anvil! The Story Of Anvil. It's release was cancelled.

"School Love" is from the album HARD 'N' HEAVY.

"March Of The Crabs", "Metal On Metal", "666", "Tease Me, Please Me", "Heat Sink", "Mothra" and "Jackhammer" are from the album METAL ON METAL.

"Winged Assassins", "Forged In Fire" and "Motormount" are from the album FORGED IN FIRE.

"Mad Dog" is from the album STRENGTH OF STEEL.

"Blood On The Ice" is from the album POUND FOR POUND.

"Smokin' Green" is from the album PLUGGED IN PERMANENT.

"Bombs Away", "Flying Blind", "Ready To Fight", "This Is Thirteen", "American Refugee" and "Worry" are from the album THIS IS THIRTEEN.

"Thumb Hang" was recorded for this album but was was originally written by Lips and Robb Reiner in the 1970s when they were in high school. It was instead released as a bonus track on the USA, Australian, Japanese, German and Argentinian CDs of the album THIS IS THIRTEEN.

During the "Thumb Hang" recording session they also recorded new versions of "Metal On Metal", "666", "March Of The Crabs", "Forged In Fire", "Winged Assassins" and "School Love". It is likely they would have used these versions instead of the originals. They might not have used "March Of The Crabs" as they still used the original on MONUMENT OF METAL.

"March of the Crabs" is an instrumental.
