New Ring RoadThis is the start of the new ring road on the Grey Wolf CampsiteThe ring road follows the creek over to the new driveway just west of Metzler's Crossing. It runs behind, or east of, the Oscar Styffe Memorial Campsite. |
Metzler's CrossingLocated at the South-east corner of the Scout Reserve, it now has a spectacular view of the Nor'Westers, after which the Scout Reserve was named.The crew pictured are some of the members of the Reserve Development Committee that came out to establish and flag the campsite area for clearing. Anyone interested in the development of the new site is invited to join in. Contact Scouter Dave for information. |

The view from Larry's LookoutOver the last 10 years, groups have been encouraged to develop campsites off the trails for their own use.In keeping with that policy, Larry had a small campsite cleared near Metzler's Crossing, and this is the view from his campfire. Please check with the Camp Committee before establishing a permanent campsite, to register your claim and prevent over-development in your choosen area. |
