Location: Grey Wolf Scout Camp

Date: June 3, 4 & 5, 2005

Cost: $10:00 each participant, (includes badge, craft, and activity supplies and Sunday lunch)

$4:00 each leader crest

Theme:  Jungle Book

 

Friday

5:00pm – Arrival starts

            -Friendship fire

10:00- Leaders Mtg

 

 Hospitality night for Beavers, groups are welcome to come out and set up, spend the night if you wish. Beaver program actually starts on Sat.

 

 

Saturday

 9:00 am – Cubs camp opening ceremony

10:00 am  - Morning activities

                        Jungle Hunt

                        Jungle obstacle coarse

                        Jungle craft

12:00pm – Registration for Beavers and picnic lunch if you wish.

 1:15  – Opening for Beavers

 1:30 – 3:30- Fun & Games

 3:45 – Swim Up and Leap Up

 4:00 – Beavers set up camp

-          Go visit Scouter Bill’s campsite

 5:00                 - Supper

-          Prepare skit, song or cheer for campfire

6:30 – 8:00 – Evening Activities

-          Badge Swap

-          Scavenger Hunt

-          Mural of Jungle Animals

8:30  – Campfire

         – Mug-Up (Bring Own Mugs) (Cupcakes, provided)

         – Leaders Mtg.

 

Sunday

8:00 – 9:00am – Breakfast

9:30 – Introduction to Stamp sorting and collecting

10:00 – Hike

           -Clean – Up

11:00 Scouts Own

          Closing and Presentations

12:00 Lunch (Hot dogs, hamburgers and Juice) provided

 

 2:00 Gone Home Service with the B.P. Guild in the chapel

           (Everyone is invited.)

 

 2:30 Coffee, refreshments with the B.P. Guild.

 

 3:00 Tidy up and Leave.

 

What to bring:

 

Each group should come self-contained, (your own food, kitchen supplies, tents etc.)

Don’t forget the bug repellent, sunscreen, a hat, warm and cold clothes, a sleeping buddy and lots to drink.

THERE IS NO POTABLE WATER AT GREY WOLF, so bring lots for drinking, cooking, and washing.

Please bring a participant list with addresses so we can mail out the crest when they come in.

 

Each group is asked to bring a children’s board game in case of foul weather.

            Uniform

            Shorts

            Long pants

            T-shirt

            Sweatshirt

            Rain gear

            Toothbrush and paste

            Brush or comb

            Flashlight

            Your own Mug

            A small amount of money (there may be some badges available for purchase)
