INFORMATION STATEMENT

Swedes in Canada project
23 January 2004

  1. The information received will be used in one of two ways.
    To provide the basis for understanding the experiences of Swedish people in Canada.  In this case it will be used without naming people or providing identifying information.

  2. To provide personal details and/or specific quotes.  In this case, written permission will be required from the person who gave the information.  Otherwise it will not be used.

  3. After the project is completed, the research material will go to an archive.  All information will then be open to the public, except that which has been designated to be kept private for a specified time period.
