What Can You Do for the Centre?

Being involved with the Women's Centre can be a rewarding experience. It’s a great opportunity to meet other women, each unique and individual, who share common experiences and goals.  The Centre has many different kinds of volunteer jobs. Come in and help us to find one that best suits your interests and the time that you have available.

Philosophy of The Volunteer Program

We believe that volunteers are the essence of the Northwestern Ontario Women's Centre community.  The energy, enthusiasm and commitment of the women who volunteer is inspirational and essential in the day to day operations of the Centre.  Volunteers at the Northwestern Ontario Women's Centre have the opportunity to be involved at all levels of running the Centre.  As volunteers, women have, and continue to assist the Centre in becoming a place that identifies, develops, implements and maintains a high quality of service essential to meeting the needs of women in the Thunder Bay community.
