Feeling feminist? Got any extra time on your hands or a burning desire to overachieve? We need fabulous feminists like you to sit on our board of directors. One evening per month and a "little light committee work" is all we ask. Help us help women today and call for an info package @ 345-7802.

Current Political Issues:

After the federal election we are anticipating a reintroduction of a new Divorce Act, we will be following any new developments.

For a feminist take on the upcoming federal election check out www.canadaelections.net brought to you by the Womens' Equality Network. Watch for the new version of the "SHOCKING PINK PAPER" entitled Still In Shock. This brochure contains an overview of federal election issues of concern to women and men who are worth their salt.

The National Association of Women and the Law (NAWL) has consulted with women across the country, and has developed new materials and a brief in response to the Divorce Act. These are available on their website at www.nawl.ca.
