Wings Parade & Service Pin Ceremony

NOASARA kicked off the training season with a wings parade and service pin ceremony. Deputy Unit Director Clark Blumberg welcomed the members, commented on the general changes in the unit over the past few months and expressed his optimism for future training and events.
Training Officer Jason Hughes talked about the training that is planned for the year and presented wings to newly qualified members.

Spotter, navigator & pilot wings were presented to members of the unit who have over the last year met all the qualifications by CASARA Ontario for their position. Congratulations on their hard work. Also handed out were eyes of life badges that are presented to spotters who take part in their first actual search.
5, 10 & 15 year service pins were handed out to the long time members. Congratulations on their dedicated service!

After the ceremonies, a social was held with some great food and drinks provided by the unit.
