We will be starting out with one Bingo per month for the remainder of 2006 but hope to increase this effort to two per month for 2007 providing that we do a good job with our upcoming Bingos. This is also a great opportunity to get our people in front of the public that we serve in order to raise awareness about Search and Rescue. Not to mention a fun social event for us and free pizza afterwards!

Bingo Open House!

We are also invited to participate in serving the public to assist with the open house at Red River Road Community Bingo on October 15th at 12 noon to 3pm. This is a fun Bingo put on to raise awareness about the various fundraising groups and to attract new players to the Bingo hall. We need a couple volunteers to participate. It would be good if they could dress up in Flight suits and really sell our unit to the Bingo hall and the public in attendance.

Mom's Pantry Products!

Please, everyone assist the Bingo and other fundraising efforts such as MOMS PANTRY PRODUCTS as these are critical to the survival of our unit, especially following the departure of Northern Flight and the lost revenue that has resulted.

Please note that the MOM's PANTRY PRODUCT forms are available at the Hanger so everyone please pitch in by selling a few of these excellent food products to your friends and family in order to support our unit. Also ensure that any cheques collected for payment must be made payable to NOASARA and NOT Mom's Pantry.

A lot of time and effort has been put into organizing these fundraisers and acquiring the licenses to do so. Not to mention the time spent providing city hall with budgets and financial information so please let’s all make the effort in order to make this a big success!
