AIRCRAFT

C-CQFZ, a Cessna 172N, is owned by NOASARA and operated under the Nor' Western Flying Club. Thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation, NOASARA was able to purchase a dedicated SAR aircraft in Feb 2008. QFZ is equipped for visual searches and electronic homing of ELT signals. Crew complement: pilot navigator, and two spotters.

C-GQMD, a Piper Cherokee, prepares for a search exercise. It is equipped for visual searches and electronic homing. Crew complement: pilot, navigator, one or two spotters.

C-GNCN, a Cessna 170B, is equipped for visual searches and electronic homing. During the Spring/Summer this aircraft is float equipped. Crew complement: pilot, navigator/spotter.
