RMYC OFFICERS: POSITIVE ROLE MODELS LEADING THEIR PEERS
The RMYC's officers are responsible for planning the activities, and sharing their talents and skills to help others. The officers are chosen from active volunteers and positive role models. Executive officers are selected bi-annually through a process that
acknowledges their contribution to the community and commitment to the RMYC. Those willing to serve on the Board apply in writing for the positions they prefer. The applicants state their interest in the RMYC, the reasons they wish to occupy a particular post, and their vision for the RMYC's future -- what they hope to achieve if they get an opportunity to serve on the board.
A panel of past RMYC officers and MANWO staff review the applications and interview the qualifying candidates. Those who are not selected are encouraged to
lead the Council's Sub-Committees and can reapply during the next round.
