Below is a listing of questions most often asked prior
to or during the application process. If your question is not addressed
below, please feel free to come into the office to make inquiries.
Where are the apartments located?
Both apartment buildings are located within walking distance of Lakehead
University and within a 5 minute drive of Confederation College. Some
townhouses are located within the "Academy Heights" area.
The Hodder townhouses are located in Current River, across from Strathcona
Golf Course and are within a 15 minute drive of either Lakehead or Con
College.
Are apartments/townhouses furnished?
Apartments or townhouses may be furnished, depending
on availability of furnishings. Please make further inquiries when dropping
off your application.
Are pets allowed?
Only with the appoval of management. Please see the Pet Owner Agreement
on our Forms
page.
How close are the units to shopping facilities?
All units are centrally located, providing easy access to Thunder Bay's
different shopping centres, as well as being located close to the city'
downtown shopping area.
How close are the units to the Thunder Bay
Transit bus routes?
All units lie directly on city bus routes, with bus stops being located
immediately outside most buildings.
Do the apartments come with access to an
exercise room/sauna/pool?
No, but the Canada Games Complex is a full service complex, that is within
walking distance.
Are the yards (for the townhouses) fenced?
Depending on the location there may be a small fence, but no gates, surrounding
the yards.
Do the units have access to laundry facilities?
Both apartment buildings have coin-operated laundry facilities within;
the townhouses have hookups for a washer & dryer, but they are not
provided.
