Classifications
In all breeds, recognized by the
Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)
the following classes will be
provided for, divided by sex.
| Junior Puppy | 6 Months and under 9 Months |
| Senior Puppy | 9 Months and under 12 Months |
| 12-18 months | For all dogs 12-18 months of age |
| Canadian Bred | Dogs born in Canada
(Champions of any country excluded) |
| Bred by Exhibitor | Dogs owned and handled in the ring by the breeder |
| Open | For all dogs |
| Specials Only | For Canadian Champions |
| Exhibition Only | For all dogs over 6 Months
of age and eligible for registration with the Canadian Kennel Club |

US Currency
We (the LKC) accept US cheques and money orders. All fees in US currency are indicated in brackets on the premium list. However, they must be payable In U.S. funds -- and for the full amount of the entry. Personally discounted cheques will not be honoured. Please do not mark personal cheques payable in Canadian Funds or At Par as such items are not readily cleared through the Banks. Your cooperation is appreciated, Thank You.
Rabies Certificates
Canada Customs requires an up-to-date rabies certificate for each dog being transported into the country.
Passports
Effective January 2007, all travelers (including US citizens and Canadians) entering the US by air will require a valid passport. By January 2008, passports will be required to travel by ground or sea. Canada Customs requires all US travelers to have appropriate ID...bring your passport if you have one.
Dog Food
Currently dog food must be brought in in UN-opened bags with the ingredients clearly readable.....NO beef or beef by-products will be allowed into Canada. (This will be up-dated if the rules change).
