Fallen Angel

I wrote the song Fallen Angel in 1997. This song was inspired by the children's story A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings, written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, about a couple who discover an old man in their yard after a bad storm. The stranger had enormous wings attached to his back. Unable to commmunicate with the old man, and uncertain what to do, the couple locked the old man in a chicken coop overnight. The next morning a crowd had gathered and the couple, seeing an opportunity to get rich, began charging an admission fee.
