YOU CANNOT FIND SOMEONE'S BIRTH, MARRIAGE or DEATH? ....



        The following omissions from the birth, marriage and death indexes
were reported to the Ontario maillist by Donna Scott.  I am including the
information here with her permission.  I have added the film numbers to
her descriptions.

ONTARIO VITAL STATISTIC corrections, delayed registrations and retakes
are on various birth, marriage and death index reels. Most of the
changes have been put on the reels at the beginning, however, please pay
particular attention to 1899 Birth reel. The additions follow the end of
the alphabet, i.e. after the letter "Z". In 1899 there were a large
number found, 750 pages of index.

1899 BIRTH, STILLBIRTH & DELAYED REGISTRATIONS reel has as follows: (The

A - 22, B - 71, C - 60, D - 35, E - 14, F - 26, G - 34, H - 57, I - 4, J

68, T - 26, U - 2, V - 6, W - 47, Y - 4, Z - 2. The corrections cover
the years 1869-1899 following the letter ‘Z' on this reel only.
