TOSHIKAI DOJO is committed to providing professional and enjoyable instruction in the Martial Arts. The LIL’ DRAGON KARATE PROGRAM is a dynamic program for 4-7 year olds offering a unique blend of fitness benefits, self-defence skills and the basics of Isshinryu Karate in a fun and positive environment. Co-ordination, concentration and co-operation skills are also developed in an age-appropriate manner. Inner discipline of mind, body and emotions is an integral part of the Lil' Dragon Program.
New for September 2004 SAMURAI KARATE PROGRAM for 7 to 9 year olds - traditional Isshinryu Karate with a focus on inner discipline and healthy living.
Special events planned include Karate Fun Nights, Board-Breaking Nights, Belt Testing, Demonstrations, Seminars by Special Guest Instructors, and Awards Celebrations to recognize each Lil’ Dragon Student for their unique abilities. These special events provide the Lil’ Dragons with opportunities to experience success, achieve attainable goals and feel really good about themselves.

The TOSHIKAI DOJO is a member of the American Okinawan Karate Association [A.O.K.A], and the Thunder Bay Martial Arts Council. We have been recognized internationally for our award-winning instructors . We are affiliated with Master Albert Mady, 8th Degree Blackbelt of Windsor, Ontario.
PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT: Parents are welcome to view the classes. Please provide quiet activities for siblings not participating in the classes. We would like to minimize any activity that could prove distracting to your Lil’ Dragon Student.
KARATE MERCHANDISE: A variety of Lil’ Dragon items are available for purchase [caps, t-shirts, winter hats, posters etc.]. Century Martial Arts Catalogues available from Sensei Susan.
LIL DRAGONS CLASS TIMES: 4:00 - 4:30 or 4:30-5:00 or 5:00-5:30 or 5:30-6:00 or 6:00-6:30
SAMURAI CLASS TIMES: 4:00-:4:45 or 5:00-5:45 or 5:45-6:30
TUITION: Session fees are due prior to the beginning of each eight week session. A registration table will be set up in the lobby, the week prior to the new session. Session fees are $65.00, yearly registration fee is $15.00 & Lil’ Dragon uniform is $45.00, SAMURAI uniform $40.00.
