Avenue II invites you to apply for a casual
position within our organization. Resumes can be submitted anytime and
interviews are usually done quarterly.
How to Apply::
Application for a position at Avenue II is made by
submitting a resume and covering letter to the Director of Finance and
Administration. The resume should include the following information:
- Name
- Address
- Telephone Number
- Education (state highest grade or level completed and attach degrees or
diplomas)
- Training (list workshop/seminars)
Employment History (name, dates
employed, position title and duties)
The cover letter
must include an outline on how your qualification relate to
working at Avenue II as well as how your personal goals and values match that
of Avenue II's mission.
A requirement prior to employment is a valid
First-Aid certificate.
If you are a successful candidate you will be
required to provide a Criminal Reference Check stating you will be working with
volnurable people, prior to working alone with any individuals we support.
To obtain a Criminal Reference Check, go to the
Thunder Bay Police Department, 1200 Balmoral Street to obtain the certificate.
They will indicate the length of time it will take to have the certificate
completed. The cost of the certificate is $35.00 and is to be paid by the
person being considered for employment.

chosen for an interview will be acknowledged.
