What’s it about?
AIDS Thunder Bay is celebrating its 15th anniversary of the Northwestern Ontario Opening Doors HIV/AIDS Counselling Conference. This day and a half conference will offer workshops on HIV/AIDS counselling issues. We welcome PHAs, their families & friends, counsellors, health care providers and clergy to attend.

Registration Fees
The fee is $50 per person.
Registration fees are subsidized by the AIDS Bureau, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and AIDS Thunder Bay.
Please make cheques payable to AIDS Thunder Bay.
(Approximate total unsubsidized value of the Conference per person is $200.
To secure your place at the conference, you must include your fees with your registration
form.
Expenses Covered at the Conference
Hotel
Accommodation is provided for participants outside Thunder Bay. Your fee will cover one
night of accommodation, double occupancy.
Single occupancy: An additional fee of $45.00 per night is required if you wish to have a single room. This fee must be paid in advance with your registration fee.
Meals
Thursday, October 12: Evening Dinner with guest speakers
Friday, October 13: Breakfast and Lunch
Travel
Out of town registrants will receive 25 cents per kilometer for shared car-pooling. Those
traveling by bus will be reimbursed. Economy air travel will be considered where distance or
isolation warrants. Requests for airfare must be approved by AIDS Thunder Bay.
