Advocacy
- AIDS Thunder Bay works to improve the social, political, and medical environment for individuals and the community.
- We actively participate in provincial and national AIDS organizations to influence the larger environment.
- We advocate for social justice issues that affect individual clients, the agency, and the community.
- AIDS Thunder Bay is a founding and active member of our national association, the Canadian AIDS Society as well as our provincial organization, the Ontario AIDS Network. Through these partnerships with sister community-based agencies, we advocate on a broad range of HIV/AIDS related issues that may require provincial or national attention.
- Here in Thunder Bay we advocate through various community partnerships, committees and the media. These include: the Joint Advisory Committee (Superior Points Harm Reduction Program and HCV Mobilization Project (TBDHU), Injection Drug Use Outreach Program (ATB) and the Thunder Bay Economic Justice Committee.

Please feel free to contact us about questions, concerns, or suggestions you might have about advocacy.
